the problem i have with this server, evrytime theres no admin, its only
baserape with jets. Always when im in the server and no admin, they
baserape and force teamkill. So more admin we need, or be online more
often and pls ban these baserapers they ruin the game.

Yeah that´s true... there should be an automatic kick, when someone is baseraping, if all flags aren´t captured...
Or make me an admin, and then there will be always an admin when I will be playing Very Happy

It is coming dont worry, i just found this post and am working on getting a new program to run on Everlander and Pinoy that can monitor bases etc, i am using it at the moment on the TeamDeathMatch server, i will also add to it the glitch buildings so ingame warning will appear when these buildings are entered (tried and tested on TDM server) Smile

we need a automatic admin or normal admins at the Everlander thats too many teamkillers and baserapers im admin at everlander but i have tested to kick a 1 big teamkiller but my warning and my kick was not accepted and he was not kicked

ur right, but i think in the everlander server there are much more rapers than in pinoy. Its always the same when i join, there are players with egoastic stats, 80 kills 2 death.
Then i turn around and see a jet bombing the aircraft... grrr

but when i ask for an admin... i get no answer.

Youll notice on Everlander and Pinoy the new Anti Base Rape Script, what this does is create an exclusion zone from killing, thereby creating a safer spawn and move around area. This will cut down on spawnkilling/Baseraping and perhaps force players to do what theyre supposed to be doing - capturing flags and not cheap easy Uncap Base kills.

The exclusion zone is 100mtrs around each uncap flag, to give you an idea of this heres a screenie

To kill in the red zone you will get a warning and the kill will not be credited to you, the victims also dont lose a point, if you do this 3 times then you will be killed (on foot or in any vehicle). This also applies on the US Carrier. As you can see the left side of the Airfield and of course the Carrier are fair game, just try to kill outside the 100mtr radius.

After each warning if you dont do it for over 2 minutes the warning is lowered a stage until back to 0. There is no points to gain but plenty to lose now by BaseRaping/Spawnkilling.

The Essex on the MEC Airfield should really be on the outside of this zone as it is lethal, i can relocate this if needed.

Ill also be looking at modifying it so if all flags are taken then Baserape IS allowed but to be honest, a 100mtr exclusion zone to at least let people spawn and try to get into combat isnt much to ask?

Opinions/Comments/Criticism welcome, BUT before you do - try it out!

I tried it out, and there are few things I would change:

The diameter and the place (see the image) - I did few measurements and I think that this solution is the best.

Allow it when all flags are captured

I attacked one heli until it was burning, but if flied towards the base and exploded there, and I was baseraper... but that is not so importatnt

Change the punishing, kill after 1 warning

Change the warning message...

Just don't allow them to blow up the helicopters and jets at the main base. It is very irritating when you finally get in a jet for example and 3 seconds later, KABOOM! Neutral

More irritating is when you are running in jet and it explodes 1m before you from someone´s Sraw or Eryx. or someone come with vehicle before you so you can not start and in meanwhile someone´s jet will make you blow up.

I agree with severin. Killing the essex, is not raping, cause its not in the safe zone!!
But i want to add something. There shoud be limit how high the zone is. Like 30m i think. Cause when i shoot a chopper, flying about 40m high thats not the safe zone i think. Moreover there a lot of campers, who starts very high and stay in that zone. And when i kill em thats raping?`I dont think so.
And whats about self defending. When igla attack ur jet/chopper? Is it raping too? NO!!!

So please modifie the script and i will agree.

It is not so easy, you know. This is just 100m in every direction from the flag. It works everytime. On everyone.
It´s a circle, so you can not change the altitude of the protection.
Igla is not a big problem... and Essex will be out of protection, when we move flag a little.
But I now played with Max and Salih for MEC, and we captured all flags... it was pretty boring then, so I had to restart the game... It would be good, if it would not be operational, when all flags are captured.

We need to check the stats for each team to see which team is the most dominant on the map due to its hardware/players, there is a big list of wins/losses on the map loadscreen i think, i know it depends on players etc but im sure one team wins a lot more than the other when i read the stats.

80mtrs looks about the best size to me too Sev, the MIG i think was about 85mtrs from the flag so yes the flag needs moved to where your X or perhaps 15mtrs along the front of that building to put the Essex into the kill zone (or relocate the essex), whichever is easier.

I know it would be better once all flags are captured it becomes disabled, im looking into this, it will need some complex checks on all flags and monitoring.

You say you became bored once all flags are captured - thats the same for anyone not in a heli/jet before this script was added - the waiting game for enemy to arrive, i guess it gives time to move forces around which happens with or without the script anyway.

I did say 100mtrs isnt a lot to ask for (which will become 80mtrs i think), that is a very small area when you look at the map, yes i know high kill counts were available in this small area but it is base raping/spawnkilling, all that is required is a little patience and self discipline to not pull that trigger too early really.

1 warning then killed hmmm a little harsh perhaps? it doesnt matter much with the warnings as kills/deaths arent credited so it is pointless doing it.

I did notice the server/s arent using team balance? this is an easy option to add in BF2CC and it should really be on, i played one night on there and one of you guys were on the US watching me being raped in the base (i forget who it was) but you landed the heli in the MEC base just to watch, how far did i get? yes a few steps and dead - that really isnt fun and will soon lose players from the server if theyre not given a chance to even move so the script has its positives. If it is disabled once all flags are captured perhaps rather than remove it - lower its safezone by half (40mtrs)? but to be honest its more professional to allow players to have some chance of getting into combat, i dont think theyll get far with an army waiting on its borders tho lol. It really is a small area and not much to ask for?

Look at how the map is played ... from start to end you have people taking off in jets/helis and ground vehicles and on foot, the safe bases are constantly bombarded regardless of all flags or not, yes cheap easy kills etc etc its the same on any server, lets have the professionalism to allow them some breathing room, if anything it should attract and keep more players once they figure out the safe/kill zones, i noticed a few doing flyovers last night who didnt fire, i salute this kind of behaviour, waiting for an enemy to take to the skies for a dogfight, that made me smile Smile

As an added bonus, this script has also stopped some serious spawn killing AND some serious glitching (under the Carrier and in the 2 buildings on the Airfield) Smile

1: You wish to promote BaseRaping? Give them an 80mtr chance to move surely, the base can still be raped in parts as seen in your number 2 statement, just know the radius and rape away, at least some will have a smaller chance of survival/combat.

2: If i cover the 2nd parts of the bases dont forget this is a circle and the no kill zone will be even larger, most kills are on the right side of the Airfield and the Carrier where the flags are so an 80mtr safe zone isnt a lot really, im sure peeps can wait a few seconds for their victims to exit that area.

Ive been monitoring it most of the day today and the players have been adapting very well, the ground combat at flags is even more intense and the air war carries on just as good, i propose a 77mtr exclusion zone instead of the 100/80, that would be to the tip of the MIGs right wing area on the runway, putting the Essex into the danger zone, no flags or anything would need moved.

The Pinoy server is now back on and has the same AntiBaseRape script running, it has been adjusted to 1 BaseRape Kill then it will kill you if you do it again, the radius is 92mtrs and i had to move the MEC Airfield flag a few metres to put the Essex into the killzone and not the safe zone, any less and the Carrier would suffer losing some safe zone.

Ive also added the headshot script to the Pinoy server. Since Dyes moved the files and changed them back again it seems to have lost its unlocks, ive checked the unlock file and its set to allow unlocks so must be getting blocked elsewhere (check your BF2CC peeps if your running it - it may be blocking unlocks as theres an allow option in it).
