Server Modding

Hi peeps,

Just thought i would let you know im available if you needs some modding done on your server (BF2 Demo).

Ive finished doing Sweepers and i know Lynn? asked me to modify the Everlander server but hasnt been back in touch.

Im not really into clan stuff (been there, done all that), but i do enjoy modding

If your wondering who i am just google me (Cobra_SFX or CobraSFX or Cobra {sfx}, ive been around for quite a while in the modding/game world, i have a website on the MOH series (www.mods-r-us.net) but i retired from Moh modding.

So - if you fancy or need some changes give me a shout

The strategy? perhaps you think soldiers need a commander to play

Look on the TDM server, no commander and more fun than usual

Up to you if you run commander, until the hax is fixed ill not run it on the TDM server, ive also taken the Helis off now.

No i didnt mean automated m8 i meant like random artillery for background effects, if i can find something like that it would be a good ambient on the TDM server

Ive added a headshot script, when you get a headshot it will come up in the middle of the screen ...

=(c)=Cobra_SFX [HEADSHOT] =(c)=MaxPayne (as an example), nice to know if its hitting where your aiming and i do like the sniper rifle but it will work with any weapon, it just detects any headshot , tested it earlier works no problem.

Now looking at the killing spree one

does that Headshot sound what is in cs work on bf2? it would be cool. and hey hey wolf

Theres no sounds Max, just the text, to add sounds would mean a clientside download, however i may be able to use sounds the game already has like the drumroll or something, ill look into that, im trying to keep everything serverside so people dont have to download anything

Ive added a neutral flag on the train at Lynns request, this no longer makes it TDM but might be fun

I dont know how you are talking about who is banned from this server?
I was playing with 1 other guy, and i got banned from this server for cheating?? WTF? I never cheat, i just fly the heli and then i got banned??

Yes i banned you, not for playing with that one guy but for the reasons the day before when you left before i could ban you.

You were the one using Commander hacks dude im not stupid, there were 4 of us left and me and churchill dont use them, the french guy joined AFTER it had started which leaves you as the prime suspect. You wont be unbanned.

We have rules and everyone HAS to respect em. No Admin is allowed to ban =(c)= Members. Fraaz is a =(c)= member. So unban him and talk with him or together with dyes or lyn.

I played a lot with fraaz and he never used cheats, hacks or sth like that.
So why should he start with it after a couple of months?
Btw: Noone of the Cobrans family cheats or use hacks.

I was in Everlander last night with Sev, you definately need some more spawn points in the bases, the MEC airfield baserape and spawnkilling was that bad i couldnt get 3 steps without being shot, if you want more added to that map let me know. I dont know if Pinoy is the same but if you havent added any then it must be, the developers didnt think adding extra spawns would help (as usual)

the server were dyes built no need for changes that is what he said .
we have new server that server will be modified and testing for us to make it strong and be known
by many gamers.
pls dont touch dyes created because he can do every moding if he wants, lets aware of instructing him because he dont like to be instructed, thats why he built his own clan and servers because he dont want to be instructed.
so lets wait if he like that server be modified

Hehe dont worry Lynn, i wouldnt touch without permission, i was just making an observation when playing there, if you need changes just ask, if your happy as is thats ok with me, the only thing i would recommend adding anyway is more spawn points so the players arent spawning in front of some guy with an MG all the time and can start in a few places in the MEC base and have a chance of living, the rest of the map looked good to me.

ps ... the developers i mean is EA/DICE not you guys
